Yes, You Can Use Bright Colors For A Wedding!

Tired of all white weddings or muted vintage color palettes? Strong colors are a fantastic way to make your wedding fun and festive. Sure, it takes more effort to coordinate a wedding with strong colors, but it will be well worth it. See how bright hues can be combined for a gorgeous effect.

There is no point in being restrained when you are featuring bright and wild colors. Once you have committed to doing something unique, there is no sense in doing it halfway. All the colors of the rainbow can be used together for a gorgeous look. Add in accents of pure crisp white as a counterpoint to all the vivid hues. This would be a fantastic color palette for a mid-summer wedding.

To create a unified look, find a print that has all of the colors used in combination. Choose your favorite color from the pattern to use for small accents. Begin with a primary pattern that you can build around, such as polka dot table linens. Build on it with white napkins that have a trim in one of the colors, like red or blue. Customize napkins with an interesting trim. Complete the table design by using chairs painted in the same accent color for a great look.

There is no lack of possibilities for centerpieces with strong hues. With the tablecloths featuring so many hues, it would be lovely to pull out a trio of them for the centerpiece flowers. Spice up your centerpieces with bright flowers in fire engine red and sunshine yellow. Single color centerpieces in one vibrant hue are another option. Casual flowers such as zinnias work wonderfully. A final idea is to use fresh white flowers for the centerpieces and to display them in clay pots painted in one of your colors. You can add a quirky touch like patterned vases.

You’ll definitely want to get your bridesmaids in on the colorful action. Your bridesmaids might not love wearing a dress with lots of colors, so pick your favorite hue for their attire. Red, blue, and green tend to be the most wearable for a variety of skin tones, while yellow and orange can be a bit trickier. White pearl bridesmaid jewelry is nice when the dresses are so colorful. Silver bridesmaid jewelry would also be pretty. The bridesmaids can carry really fun bouquets featuring lots of colorful blossoms. It would be lovely for the bride to carry an equally colorful bouquet instead of the traditional white blossoms.

There are so many additional ways to use vivid colors in your wedding. Then create vibrantly hued wedding favors and a show-stopping wedding cake. Your friends and family will definitely love your cheery wedding.
