If I have my wedding at the Queen Mary in the Royal Saloon, should I keep the centerpieces simple?
Posted by admin | Under Centerpieces For Weddings Monday May 10, 2010The Royal Saloon in the Queen Mary is a very extravagant room, and I am afraid if I have large, tall, pink centerpieces like I planned would look extremely tacky! Should I keep my centerpieces short and a neutral color like Champagne or white? But also, I do not want my wedding to look like everyone else’s. Any suggestions?

Congrats on getting married.
I looked at the pictures and have to say that it is truly an amazing space. I don’t know what theme or feel you want your wedding to have, but With the opulence of the room I was suggest going with smaller, centerpieces that wont distract from the rest of the room.
While looking at the pictures i got the idea of having silver candelabras with crystals and clusters of flowers around it. It will give it a vintage sophisticated feel.
If you want to go more modern, maybe something like balls of flowers placed on a mirror which can reflect the gorgeous ceiling. Either way, I dintt think pink flowers will be a problem, just keep it simple.
Good luck with all the planning
